2026-2027 Course Selection

Registering for 2026-2027 classes is a 2-step process:

  1. Students will submit their Course Request Form (linked below) to their 3rd block teacher. This form can be found in the BJHS Registration Packet, which will be available online and distributed to students the week of March 23rd.
  2. Students will also submit their requests online via PowerSchool by following these instructions. Course requests can always be revised up until April 10th, when registration closes for upperclassmen.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Enrollment information is located on the Madison City School System website.  Look for the registration tab.  This page will include a link to PowerSchool Enrollment and other important registration information. Once this step is completed and your information is verified, you will be contacted for an appointment with a school counselor.  New student registration for the summer will occur during the month of July.

    Your guidance counselor keeps a checklist of all your earned graduation credits in addition to your high school transcript.  See your assigned guidance counselor for assistance.  We are located in the Counseling Center, which has an entrance on the second floor near the S hall.
