Medications for the School Year:
- Prescription medications need to have a Parent/Provider Authorization (PPA) form filled out by a physician.
- Over-the-counter medications have to be in an unopened, unexpired, original container. PPA is now required for over-the-counter medications as well.
- All medication has to be brought in by a parent/guardian.
- Students are NOT allowed to carry medication on them. Emergency medication (such as inhalers and EpiPens) can be carried by a student if authorized by a physician. A PPA needs to be filed in the nurse's clinic.
