This is Ms. McCarley's first year at Bob Jones High School. Ms. McCarley will be teaching Algebra 1 for mastery and Algebra 1-A. Ms. McCarley is originally from Hamilton, AL where she attended Hamilton High School. After high school, she attended Itawamba Community College in Fulton, MS where she earned an Associate’s degree in Mathematics Education. Then continued her education at the University of North Alabama, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education. After teaching math for a few years, Ms. McCarley decided to continue her education by earning a Master’s degree in Teaching and Learning from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. She is currently pursuing an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Liberty University.

Before coming to Bob Jones, Ms. McCarley spent eight years at Austin High School where she taught algebra. Ms. McCarley has also taught at Sparkman High School, A.P. Brewer High School, and Liberty Middle School.

During her spare time, Ms. McCarley enjoys reading and spending time with her friends and family.
