Bio

This is Coach Smith's third year at Bob Jones High School. Coach Smith will be teaching Algebra 1 for mastery and is the head baseball coach. Coach Smith is originally from Russellville, AL where he attended Phil Campbell High School. After high school, he then attended the University of Alabama where he received a bachelor's and master's degree in mathematics education. Before coming to Bob Jones, Coach Smith spent two years at Dothan High School where he taught math and was the head baseball coach.  Prior to Dothan, Smith spent five years as a math teacher, assistant varsity baseball/JV head coach, and assistant varsity football coach at Northridge High School in Tuscaloosa, AL. Smith also recently completed an educational specialist's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of West Alabama. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting and all sports, especially Alabama Football. Roll Tide!
