*I have been at Bob Jones High School since the 2000-01 school year.  During that time I have taught both Early and Modern U.S. History, Skills Lab for history, AP US Government and AP US History.

*I began my teaching career in Attala County, Mississippi, before moving to Alabama.  My career in Alabama, prior to BJHS, includes service in the Jefferson County System (Erwin Elementary, Berry High School and Simmons Middle School), and the Hoover City System (Berry High School and Hoover High School). 

*I find myself still enjoying being in a classroom, even after over 40+ years in the profession.

*My husband and I are natives of Mississippi and products of the public school systems of Kosciusko and Starkville, respectively. 

*We live in Scottsboro where he serves as the CFO of the Jackson County Health Care Authority. 

*We have two daughters and two grandchildren.
