Wednesday’s opening of National Signing Day had Bob Jones and James Clemens buzzing with excitement.
Eleven athletes in all signed athletic scholarships.

The headliner at JCHS was  LaBryan Ray, the state’s top recruit. LaBryan ended growing suspense this season by signing a football scholarship for the University of Alabama.

Other JCHS football signees are as follows: Brett Bennett and Brody Collier, both for the University of North Alabama; Michael Sharpley, Kennesaw State; John Jenkins, Harvard.
Aubrie McFall, a standout for the lady Jets soccer team, signed a soccer scholarship with Louisiana Tech.

Over at Bob Jones, Kendall Randolph also signed with the University of Alabama. Others are as follows: Tucker Walters, UNA;  Brad Anderson, Middle Tennessee State University; A.J. Harris, Ole Miss; Brady Polson, Carson-Newman.
Congratulations to these fine student athletes. And also their family, teachers, coaches and classmates who helped mold who they are.
