Sylvia Lambert graduated with her Ed.S. from Alabama A & M University in 2012. She received her master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Class A certification in collaborative education from Auburn University at Montgomery. Mrs. Lambert graduated from the University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in special education (pre k – 12).

This is Mrs. Lambert's third year as Principal of Bob Jones High School. Before assuming the role of Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Instruction at Bob Jones High School in 2014, Mrs. Lambert served as Assistant Principal at Liberty Middle School. Before moving into secondary administration, she served as a department lead at James Clemens High School throughout its charter year.

Previously, Mrs. Lambert taught in the collaborative setting at Bob Jones High School, as well as in middle school and high school levels in Montgomery and Memphis.

Mrs. Lambert and her family reside in Madison. She is married to Mark, who teaches social studies at Monrovia Middle School, and they have two children, Daniel and Shelby. Daniel has recently finished his Master’s degree in German Studies from the University of Nebraska. Shelby graduated from Samford University in 2014, and is employed  at UAB Hospital in the medical intensive care unit as an RN. Mrs. Lambert enjoys keeping fit by playing racquetball, running, and other sports. Mrs. Lambert enjoys reading, running, racquetball, and golf. She has traveled to various countries including Russia, Honduras, France, and Panama.

With all of the extra-curricular events that Mrs. Lambert attends, she enjoys the performances of her students in academic competitions, athletic contests, theatrical shows, band and related contests and the arts. Bob Jones...What a magnificent place to experience! The opportunities are limitless!
